Free Summer Concerts | Vail Valley

Here in the Vail Valley, summer is all about being outside and enjoying the “playground” that is our home. Whether your day is spent on the mountain, the river, or in town, there is no better way to end it than to kick back and enjoy a concert. Make it a free, outdoor concert, and you just might be in heaven.

We have compiled a list of all the free concerts throughout the Vail Valley – because who doesn’t love free entertainment on a warm summer night??



Crazy Mountain Brewery’s Hot Summer Nights Concert Series
Tuesdays, June 14-August 23, Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater

A local’s favorite, the Tuesday night concerts bring out all ages – bring a blanket for the lawn or grab a seat in the covered seating area. New this year – join us for Hot Summer Happy Hour, starting at 4:30pm! Come to the amphitheater early and enjoy yard games, free music, and cheap beer from Crazy Mountain Brewery! Vail Summerfest
Friday, June 24, Mountain Plaza, Vail Village

New in 2016, Vail Summerfest invites locals and visitors to come see what events Vail will be offering throughout the summer. Of course, enjoy free music from Tony Gulizia, Marcus Miler, and Nelson Rangell. Learn more about the event here.

Bravo! Vail Free Concerts
Various evenings, June 28-August 6, Various locations

Free music sounds extraordinary all summer long, all throughout the Vail Valley.  The  Bravo! Vail Season offers free, hour-long chamber music concerts at the Vail Interfaith Chapel, The Chapel at Beaver Creek, Edwards Interfaith Chapel, and locations in Gypsum and elsewhere throughout the Valley. Vail Summer Bluegrass
Wednesdays, June 29, July 6, 13, & 20, Arrabelle at Vail Square

The Vail Summer Bluegrass Series is four free live bluegrass concerts. Each individual concert boasts national-level, award-winning talent and have proven to draw crowds from the Vail region, as well as visiting guests from around the world. To support our headlining talent, we have made it a priority to feature local and regional bands as well.


Minturn Summer Concert Series
Thursdays, July 7-August 25, Little Beach Park

Gather with friends to enjoy the best hidden gem in Eagle County! Minturn’s Little Beach Park offers a one-of-a-kind outdoor amphitheater experience with river side appeal. Kids can play on the near-by playground while adults meet and greet at the amphitheater.


Village F.A.C.
Fridays, June 24-August 26, Beaver Creek Plaza

New to Beaver Creek this summer, Beaver Creek’s “Friday Afternoon Club” will feature live music, shopping, ice skating and more! Try a bite from one of the local restaurants, or purchase a  beverage and soak up the summer sun at the all-new Plaza Pavilion, located at the west end of the Beaver Creek ice rink.

Beaver Creek Music Experience
Wednesdays, June 29-August 10, Creekside Park

Warm up for your free concert in Beaver Creek with Free Yoga at the base of the Bunkaroo Gondola, then heard over to experience American Roots Music with a Rocky Mountain backdrop! Grab your blankets and lawn chairs and join us Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm in beautiful Creekside Park, located just below the main village. Live music is free for all guests. Food and beverage will be available for purchase.


Friday Afternoon Club
Fridays, June 24-September 9, Maya @ Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa

Maya’s popular Friday Afternoon Club returns for the summer season on June 24th! The Maya terrace opens at 5 p.m., with the live music starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy $3 tacos, $4 beers, $6 margaritas and $7 premium spirits all while watching another gorgeous Vail Valley sunset.

Avon LIVE! Summer Concert Series
Wednesday in August, Nottingham Park

The Avon Live! Summer Concert Series returns in August offering four exceptional evenings of live music!  The Wednesday evening music series is quickly becoming tradition and features award winning national talent and provides the community an opportunity to come together and experience music, fresh and unique foods from food-trucks and enjoy a summer evening outside.


Riverwalk First Fridays Concert Series
First Fridays of July, August, and September, the Back Yard in Riverwalk

Riverwalk First Fridays is back in 2016, bringing the residents and businesses of the mid-valley communities together to enjoy live music from Colorado’s greatest jazz artists, paired with tasty fare and refreshing beverages from the valley’s most celebrated purveyors. Local vendors and merchants will line the scenic riverside promenade, and special activities for families and children will be offered throughout the summer.


ShowDown Town
Thursdays, June 30-August 11, Eagle Town Park

The Town of Eagle and Bonfire Brewing presents this popular weekly event with the free music supplemented by a host of kids’ activities to keep the whole family entertained! Picnics are welcome for these laid-back community inspired evenings.
